Vivo T5 Pro Review: Massive Battery, Flagship-Style Display, But Cameras Feel Average

vivo is clearly chasing one thing with the T5 Pro — endurance. In a market where most phones still sit around 5000mAh to 6500mAh, the T5 Pro jumps straight to a massive 9020mAh battery while still trying to look like a premium mid-ranger.

Add a 144Hz AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, IP68/IP69 rating, and 90W charging, and this starts sounding like a serious all-round package on paper.

The biggest strength of the vivo T5 Pro is easily battery life. This thing is built for heavy users — mobile gamers, travelers, students, field workers, and people who simply hate carrying chargers everywhere.

The 9020mAh silicon-carbon battery is currently one of the largest in this category, and vivo still manages to keep the phone relatively manageable despite the huge battery.

For Pakistani users especially, where load shedding, long commutes, and inconsistent charging access are still real concerns, the battery alone makes this phone stand out immediately.

The 90W fast charging also helps balance that huge cell. Even though the battery is enormous, charging times remain practical instead of frustrating.

The display is another area where the T5 Pro punches above expectations. You get a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and extremely high brightness figures.

In real-world use, that means outdoor visibility should be excellent, while scrolling and gaming feel extremely fluid. For content consumption, the phone is genuinely impressive for this price segment.

Performance also looks solid. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is not a flagship chipset, but it is more than capable for everyday multitasking, gaming, and long gaming sessions.

Where the phone starts losing momentum is the camera setup.

The primary 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS is decent enough for daylight shots and casual photography, but the rest of the camera system feels underwhelming considering the overall positioning of the device.

vivo pairs the main sensor with only a 2MP secondary camera, which immediately makes the setup look less ambitious than competitors offering ultra-wide or telephoto lenses in the same segment.

The T5 Pro seems designed for users who prioritize battery and display first, photography second.

That does not mean the cameras are bad. Social media photos, portraits, and regular daytime images should still satisfy most people.

But if your priority is zoom photography, ultra-wide shots, or flagship-style image processing, then this probably is not the best choice in its segment.

Another interesting part is the overall durability package. IP68 and IP69 ratings are still uncommon around this price range, especially combined with such a large battery.

For Pakistani users dealing with dust, heat, rough travel conditions, or accidental water exposure, this adds genuine practical value instead of just marketing appeal.

The vivo T5 Pro feels like a phone made for power users rather than camera enthusiasts. It prioritizes battery life, display quality, gaming endurance, durability, and charging speed over photography versatility.

If your biggest frustration with smartphones is battery anxiety, the vivo T5 Pro looks genuinely exciting.

If cameras are your top priority, there are stronger options available in this price segment.
