Oppo Reno 15F

The Oppo Reno 15F has a 6.57-inch AMOLED display (2372 x 1080, 120Hz) with Corning Gorilla Glass+. Oppo gives a typical brightness of 600 nits and 1400 nits in high brightness mode. The chip is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with eight cores and an Adreno 710 graphics unit, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and the phone also has a memory card slot. We have not run benchmarks, so we make no claim about its speed against other phones. The rear cameras are a 50MP main camera with 2-axis OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro; the front camera is 50MP. Oppo lists rear video at 4K and 30 frames per second and 1080p at 60 frames per second, with slow motion at 720p and 240 frames per second. There is no telephoto lens, so zoom here would be digital zoom on the main camera. The battery is 7,000 mAh typical (6,830 mAh rated) with 80W SUPERVOOC charging as the maximum. Oppo's page says a charger is in the box but does not state its wattage, so the 80W figure is what the phone supports, not necessarily what the supplied charger delivers. For a house with long load shedding hours, the battery size is the figure to compare first. A power bank or a UPS for the evening hours is a separate purchase that the phone does not replace. Software is ColorOS 16.0. Oppo's page makes no update promise and states no IP rating. The weight is 195 g in Twilight Blue and 202 g in Aurora Blue, and the thickness is 8.14 mm or 8.27 mm. Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth is 5.1. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack, and Oppo's page says NFC support depends on the region. The 5G bands listed include n78 and n41, and the record lists 5G support. Whether you get 5G speeds depends on your operator's coverage in your city, so ask Jazz, Zong, Ufone or Telenor about the area where you live. In Pakistan, PriceOye lists a one-year official Oppo warranty valid at Oppo service centres, and an optional extra year from PriceOye for Rs 3,599. Check the PTA status of the exact unit by sending the 15-digit IMEI to 8484 or using dirbs.pta.gov.pk before you pay. We have not tested this phone.
